Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time substitute teacher who will demonstrate excellence in biblical knowledge and teaching abilities. The role requires active church participation, strong communication, and a caring, perceptive approach to students.

The substitute will complete substitute teacher training, teach LifeWise classes as needed, and implement provided lesson plans. They will maintain a safe, organized classroom and communicate with teachers and volunteers as needed.

• Ability to follow LifeWise curriculum and policies

Responsibilities

• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis
• Implement lesson plans using LifeWise curriculum
• Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom
• Take attendance and provide records to the teacher
• Maintain a clean, well-ordered classroom and know emergency procedures
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers and with the teacher
• Serve as LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community
