Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time substitute teacher who demonstrates biblical knowledge and strong teaching abilities, and who is an active church participant with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities include completing substitute teacher training, delivering LifeWise lessons using provided curriculum, maintaining a safe and well-organized classroom, taking attendance, and communicating plans with volunteers and the lead teacher.

Qualifications

• Complete substitute teacher training.
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis.
• Implement curriculum provided by LifeWise.
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment following LifeWise policies and procedures.
• Take attendance in each class and provide attendance records to the teacher.
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers before class and with the teacher.

Responsibilities

• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Take attendance and report records to the teacher.
