Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking substitute teachers who demonstrate excellence in Biblical knowledge and teaching abilities. The ideal candidate participates actively in church life, communicates effectively, and shows care and perceptiveness in engaging students with LifeWise curriculum.

Training will be provided for substitute duties, with teaching on an as-needed basis. The role requires maintaining a safe classroom, recording attendance, and serving as a LifeWise ambassador in the community

Qualifications

• Mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise's Statement of Faith.
• Ability to implement the LifeWise curriculum and teach classes.

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training.
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis and implement provided lesson plans.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom following LifeWise policies.
• Take attendance and provide records to the teacher.
• Maintain a clean, well-ordered classroom and know emergency procedures.
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers and coordinate with the teacher.
