LifeWise Academy is seeking a Part-Time substitute teacher in Ohio to support LifeWise classes using the provided curriculum. You will complete substitute training, teach as needed, and maintain a safe, orderly classroom while following LifeWise policies.

The role requires active church participation and aligned beliefs. You will communicate with teachers, coordinate with volunteers, and maintain attendance records, contributing to a supportive learning environment for students.

Qualifications

• Mature personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training.
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis.
• Implement lesson plans using the LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher.
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment per LifeWise policies.
• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Maintain attendance records and provide attendance reports to the teacher.
• Maintain a clean, attractive and well-ordered classroom; know emergency procedures.
• Act as a LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community.
• Coordinate lesson plans with volunteers and assign duties.
• Communicate with the teacher regularly.
