Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Ohio is seeking a substitute teacher to support LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis. You will complete the substitute training and implement the provided LifeWise curriculum, maintaining a safe, orderly classroom environment and following the discipline policy.

As a LifeWise ambassador, you will communicate lesson plans with volunteers and the teacher, maintain attendance, and contribute to a positive classroom culture within the LifeWise program.

Qualifications

• Mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training.
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis.
• Implement the LifeWise curriculum and lesson plans provided by the teacher.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom following LifeWise policies.
• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Maintain attendance records and provide them to the teacher.
• Keep classroom clean and orderly and know emergency procedures.
• Act as a LifeWise ambassador and communicate plans with volunteers and the teacher.
