Job summary

Throttle & Thrive is seeking a part-time Behavioral Health Technician to support clients in a SUD inpatient setting on swing shifts and weekends in California. The role involves patient care, administration of meds, and adherence to facility protocols. Typical hours are 5:30 PM–10 PM, with longer shifts on weekends; weekend availability is required.

Valid RADT and CPR/First Aid are required or can be obtained with company help. Prior inpatient experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have valid RADT credential that is not expired.
• Must have valid CPR/First Aid certificate that will not expire for at least one year.
• Must be available to work every weekend on Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, dishes, laundry, paperwork and following company protocols.
• Medication pass and administering care to clients.
• Ensure the facility runs on time for appointments, groups and activities.
• Computer work, intakes, logs, admissions and discharges.
• Running errands, group facilitation, group documentation and de-escalation.
• Transportation and other duties as needed.
