Job summary

MAS Community Health seeks a part-time Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) in Calais, Maine. You will provide supervision and therapeutic support to children aged 1-21 in the client’s home or community setting, following an individualized treatment plan created with the family and case management team.

Experience with children is a plus; certification not required initially, with training provided. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle, plus basic tech skills, are recommended to support

• Clean driving record and background check.
• Ability to provide active motor vehicle insurance & registration.

Responsibilities

• Providing individualized support within the clients' personal home and surrounding community.
• Safely transporting the client in your own vehicle.
• Following the client's treatment plan outlined by the family and case management team.
• Basic understanding of smartphone applications and email; processing daily session notes; training available.

Part- Time Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) | Up to $27/hr | Calais, Maine

Job Overview:

We're looking for certified Behavioral Health Professionals in or near Calais, Maine.

As a BHP, you will provide care to clients between the ages of 1-21. Specifically, provide supervision and therapeutic support to children struggling with severe and persistent behavioral challenges. Support will be in the client's home or surrounding community.

Requirements:

• An active BHP Certification is not required! Our team ensures you have all the tools to become an excellent BHP.
• 1 year of experience working with children is a plus. (I.e. education, childcare, babysitting/nannying, etc.)
• Interest in a career in early childhood education, social work, or psychology
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Clean driving record and background check
• Ability to provide active motor vehicle insurance & registration
• Ability to provide high school diploma or equivalent

Job Details:

• Providing individualized support within the clients' personal home and surrounding community.
• Safely transporting the client within your own personal, reliable vehicle.
• Following the client's treatment plan outlined and created by the client's family and the case management team.
• Basic understanding of smart phone applications, access to email communication, and awareness around processing electronic documents such as daily session notes. Training is available.
