Job summary

MAS Community Health in Maine is seeking a Part-Time Behavioral Health Professional to provide in-home and community support for clients aged 1-21. You will supervise and deliver therapeutic support within the client’s home and surrounding area, with training available.

No active BHP certification is required; 1 year of experience with children is a plus. Flexibility for afternoons/evenings/weekends and a valid driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

Part- Time Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) | Up to $27/hr | Winthrop, Maine

Job Overview

We’re looking for certified Behavioral Health Professionals in or near Winthrop, Maine.

As a BHP, you will provide care to clients between the ages of 1-21. Specifically, provide supervision and therapeutic support to children struggling with severe and persistent behavioral challenges. Support will be in the client’s home or surrounding community.

Requirements

• An active BHP Certification is not required! Our team ensures you have all the tools to become an excellent BHP.
• 1 year of experience working with children is a plus. (I.e. education, childcare, babysitting/nannying, etc.)
• Interest in a career in early childhood education, social work, or psychology
• Flexibility to work some afternoons, evenings, and weekends as needed
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Clean driving record and background check
• Ability to provide active motor vehicle insurance & registration
• Ability to provide high school diploma or equivalent

Job Details
