Job summary

MAS Community Health is seeking part-time Behavioral Health Professionals in or near Winthrop, Maine. You will provide supervision and therapeutic support to children aged 1-21 in home and community settings, with safe transport in your own vehicle and coordination with families and case management.

Applicants should have no required BHP certification, but access to tools and training will be provided. Flexible schedule including afternoons, evenings, and weekends is a plus, with competitive pay

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with children is a plus.
• Interest in early childhood education, social work, or psychology.
• Flexibility to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Clean driving record and background check.
• Ability to provide high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Providing individualized support within the clients' personal home and surrounding community.
• Safely transporting the client within your own personal, reliable vehicle.
• Following the client’s treatment plan outlined and created by the client’s family and the case management team.
• Basic understanding of smartphone applications, access to email communication, and awareness around processing electronic documents such as daily session notes.

Job Overview

We’re looking for certified Behavioral Health Professionals in or near Winthrop, Maine.

As a BHP, you will provide care to clients between the ages of 1-21. Specifically, provide supervision and therapeutic support to children struggling with severe and persistent behavioral challenges. Support will be in the client’s home or surrounding community.

Requirements

• An active BHP Certification is not required! Our team ensures you have all the tools to become an excellent BHP.
• 1 year of experience working with children is a plus. (I.e. education, childcare, babysitting/nannying, etc.)
• Interest in a career in early childhood education, social work, or psychology
• Flexibility to work some afternoons, evenings, and weekends as needed
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Clean driving record and background check
• Ability to provide active motor vehicle insurance & registration
• Ability to provide high school diploma or equivalent
