Job summary

MAS Community Health is seeking a Part-Time Behavioral Health Professional to provide in-home and community-based support for clients aged 1–21 in Belfast, Maine. You will supervise and assist with behavioral plans in collaboration with families and a care team.

Role requires a valid driver’s license, a clean background, and a willingness to work some afternoons/evenings/weekends. Training is provided; benefits include health coverage and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Active BHP certification not required. Training provided to become a skilled BHP.
• 1 year of experience with children is a plus.
• Interest in early childhood education, social work, or psychology.
• Flexible to work some afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Clean driving record and background check.
• Ability to provide active motor vehicle insurance & registration.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support in clients' home and community.
• Safely transport client in your own vehicle.
• Follow treatment plan created with family and case management.
• Basic use of smartphones, email, and processing daily session notes; training available.

Job Overview:
We’re looking for certified Behavioral Health Professionals in or near Belfast, Maine .

As a BHP, you will provide care to clients between the ages of 1-21. Specifically, provide supervision and therapeutic support to children struggling with severe and persistent behavioral challenges. Support will be in the client’s home or surrounding community.

Requirements:

• An active BHP Certification is not required! Our team ensures you have all the tools to become an excellent BHP.
• 1 year of experience working with children is a plus. (I.e. education, childcare, babysitting/nannying, etc.)
• Interest in a career in early childhood education, social work, or psychology
• Flexibility to work some afternoons, evenings, and weekends as needed

Job Details:
