Job summary

Butterfly Effects is seeking dedicated Child Interventionists/Behavior Technicians for a part-time, home-based role. The position supports children with autism, implementing ABA-based plans and helping with communication, social skills, and self-care in family settings.

The role offers 10-20 hours per week on weekdays, with after-school sessions from 3-7pm. Training and subsidies are available to pursue RBT or BCBA pathways.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Passion for working with children.
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience with children is advantageous.
• Commitment to ongoing development.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transport with insurance.
• Must have a tablet or laptop for sessions, not just a phone.
• Must pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under BCBA direction.
• Observes and reports client progress daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Applies behavioral principles consistently in interactions.
• Assists clients to acquire academic and life skills.
• Communicates professionally with families and team members.
• Participates in training and maintains confidential records.
• Follows Butterfly Effects policies and procedures.
