Job summary

First Children Services in Plainfield, NJ seeks a Part Time Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) to support individuals through ABA-based programs. You will work 1:1 with clients across regions and implement individualized plans under supervision.

Responsibilities include data collection, documentation, and collaboration with the treatment team to promote positive behavioral outcomes in diverse settings. Prior ABA experience and a relevant degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of experience working with children.
• Comfortable working with diverse children and behavioral needs across settings.
• Demonstrate competence with ABA principles and interventions.
• Ability to perform administrative tasks and use daily documentation tools.
• Strong interpersonal and documentation skills.
• Willingness to accept and implement feedback.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with clients in designated region.
• Read and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collect session data and submit documentation timely.
• Support healthy communication, social and behavioral skills.
• Provide interactive therapeutic support to reduce maladaptive behaviors.
• Collaborate with treatment team to improve outcomes.
• Complete administrative tasks when billable hours are unavailable.
