Job summary

BehaviorCare Therapy in Glendale, AZ is hiring part-time behavior technicians to work with children on the autism spectrum in their homes during afternoon and evening hours. You’ll provide 1:1 ABA-based support to help kids build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence under supervision by a BCBA.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide or Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, autism.)
• ABA experience a plus!
• Afternoon/evening availability (weekends a plus)
• Reliable transportation
• Must pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with kids in their homes to help them learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques
• Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans made by your supervisor (BCBA)
• Track progress during each session using an easy data system on your phone or tablet
• Team up with your BCBA and fellow techs to keep things consistent and effective - you're never doing this alone
• Give feedback to families about how the session went and celebrate small wins together!
