Job summary

NovaCare Kids in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a Behavior Technician to work 1:1 with children who have an Autism diagnosis, implementing ABA programs under the supervision of a BCBA. Training is provided and 15–20 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with a part-time schedule.

You’ll collect data, document progress, and collaborate with a small pediatric team to support skill acquisition and behavior reduction goals in both clinical and home settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, record and document data based on observable client behavior and communicate to parents and team members regarding a child’s progress
• Work 1:1 with children who have an Autism diagnosis, in their home and in our center
• Implement ABA programs and Behavior Intervention Plans directed and supervised by a BCBA
