Job summary

The Baroco Corporation in Northampton, MA is seeking a part-time Behavior Specialist to support adults with ID/DD by developing, implementing, and monitoring person-centered behavior support strategies.

You will conduct FBAs, develop BSPs and PBSPs, train staff, and work with a multidisciplinary team; 20 hours per week, on site, with hourly pay $33–$40 depending on education and experience.

Qualifications

• Masters level BCBA preferred; BCBA/BCaBA will require experience with data collection and programming.
• Excellent communication skills and English proficiency.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify causes of challenging behaviors.
• Develop and monitor Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) and PBSPs.
• Train and coach direct support staff on behavior strategies and data collection.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
• Review goals and modify supports based on data and outcomes.
