Qualifications

• Associated degree in communication, education or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred with focus on communication or education.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in community outreach programs.
• Successful clearance of criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies to reduce disciplinary issues through positive reinforcement.
• Provide support and counsel to teachers and students on disciplinary matters.
• Collaborate with professionals to assess student behavior and design plans.
• Notify parents about discipline referrals and outcomes.
• Track disciplinary referrals in the academy's database.
• Coordinate and implement individual behavior plans.
• Create behavior assessment strategies with administrators.
• Support a culture of academic excellence and disciplined behavior.
• Assist with home visits, advisory implementation, and progress reporting.
• Partner with community agencies and connect families to services.
