Job summary

Springfield Public Schools seeks an Educational Assistant - Behavior & Instruction at Centennial Elementary School for 3.75 hours per day. The schedule runs 9:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., Monday–Friday while school is in session.

Qualifications include an Associate degree or higher, or two years post-secondary education, or HS diploma with required knowledge. First Aid/CPR certification is required, with potential for 1:1 and group support.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher (attach diploma).
• Completion of two years post-secondary with 72 credit hours or 48 semester units (attach transcripts).
• HS diploma or GED with ability to meet state para-professional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide supplemental practice and reinforce skills under a licensed teacher.
• Assist in 1:1 or small group settings with behavioral, academic, and social needs.
• Maintain records, assist with attendance, and support classroom management.
