Job summary

Springfield Public Schools seeks two Educational Assistants in Behavior & Instruction at Ridgeview Elementary School in Springfield, Oregon. This part-time, 3.75-hour per day position is non-benefited.

Responsibilities include instructional support, behavior management, and 1:1 or small group assistance with students, including those with special needs. Salary range stated is $18.87–$24.83 per hour.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher (attach diploma)
• Two years post-secondary study (72 credits, 48 semester units)
• High school diploma or GED and meets paraprofessional standard for reading/language arts and math readiness.

Responsibilities

• Provide supplemental practice under a licensed teacher.
• Assist with health room first aid when needed.
• Support student behavior management and safe transportation procedures.
• Maintain logs and assist with attendance and data entry as required.
• Assist in planning and implementing learning experiences for students.
