Job summary

Springfield Public Schools seeks an Educational Assistant - Behavior & Instruction at Maple Elementary School. This part-time position runs 8:00 a.m.–1:45 p.m.

on school days, supporting students with behavioral and instructional needs and collaborating with teachers to promote inclusive, safe learning environments. Qualifications

• Knowledge of district policies and procedures; safety and first aid practices.
• Ability to apply student de-escalation strategies and behavior guidance.
• Experience assisting in instructional settings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide supplemental practice and support under supervision.
• Record and manage basic classroom data and attendance logs.
• Assist with health room duties and student supervision as needed.
