The Children's Center for Language and Culture, Inc. (ChiCeLaCu!) is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Spanish Teacher for its At Your School program at Great Falls Elementary School in Fairfax County.

Classes run before school hours from 7:00 to 9:00 AM on Mondays and Wednesdays. You will support the Lead Teacher by developing engaging lessons, maintaining a welcoming environment for families, and providing weekly updates.

Competenze

• Fluent Spanish speaker.

• Support the Lead Teacher in developing and implementing age-appropriate, engaging lesson plans aligned with educational objectives.
• Support the Lead Teacher in designing and implementing activities that align with the curriculum and educational goals.
• Maintain a friendly demeanor with families and partner with parents to positively support every child's growth and create a welcoming environment.
• Prepare weekly parent updates, quarterly student assessments, and 1 parent-teacher conference.
• Light housekeeping to ensure the assigned classroom is clean, organized, sanitized, and well maintained at all times.
• Build and sustain positive working relationships with fellow educators and administrative staff to promote a collaborative team atmosphere.
