The position requires at least 6 months of experience with 3–5 year-olds, 6 ECE units, and a CA Assistant permit, plus a food handler permit. This is a 30-hour-per-week role at multiple centers.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience working with children aged 3–5 years.
• Completion of 6 ECE units and CA Child Development Assistant permit required.
• Ability to take initiative and follow guidance appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Prepare classroom activities and environment as needed.
• Assist with curriculum implementation and classroom activities.
• Supervise children at all times and ensure safety.
• Monitor indoor/outdoor safety and nap routines.
• Discuss daily progress with parents during pick-up times.
• Report inappropriate behavior to supervisor as required.
• Assist site manager with administrative tasks and openings.
• Assist with kitchen duties as needed, including food handling and sanitation.
