Job summary

Innovation Learning is hiring a Resilience Coach for a school-based program. You will mentor students, create a safe, engaging environment, and help them build life skills and confidence.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with children in schools, childcare, camps, recreation programs, or youth organizations preferred.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude, patience, and a genuine passion for youth development.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.

Location/Schedules: School-Based Program Site

Current Openings:

Challenge to Excellence Academy: Monday-Friday: 6:30AM-8:00AM-3:30PM-6:00PM

Global Village Academy: Monday-Friday: 3:10PM-6:00PM


Reports To: Head Coach/Site Leadership


Pay: $20-24/hour, Based on experience and region


Position Overview

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children? As a Resilience Coach, you will help create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where students can build confidence, develop life skills, and thrive.This is an active, hands-on role that combines mentorship, enrichment, recreation, and academic support. We are looking for positive, energetic team members who enjoy working with school-age children and creating meaningful connections every day.


Key Responsibilities

Student Engagement & Support

State Requirements:

Candidates must be 18 years old and meet one of the following:

  • 3 months (455 hours) of verifiable formal work experience with kids over 4 years old
  • Early Childhood Professional Credential of a Level 1 or higher

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to actively participate in indoor and outdoor activities.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout program hours.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally.
