Job summary

Colwen Hotels is seeking a Part-Time Bartender for the AC Hotel Portsmouth, a Colwen Hotels Property, to deliver memorable bar experiences. You’ll be the face of the bar, need to be quick on your feet, and maintain a positive, upbeat attitude with guests.

Join and help our team create exceptional service. The role requires one year of bartending experience, TIPS certification, and ability to operate a POS system.

Qualifications

• One year of bartending experience.
• TIPS certification or state-specific equivalent.
• Ability to operate point-of-sale system.
• Extensive knowledge of drink preparation and/or service.
• Ability to remain calm with difficult guests.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile and personal attention.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Oversee liquor stock and bar supplies.
• Prepare guest checks and process payments.
• Light food preparation and service as needed.
• Promote and upsell drinks and promotions.
