Job summary

Residence Inn/Fairfield Inn Annapolis, a Colwen Hotels property, is seeking a part-time PM bartender to join our team. You will be the face of the bar, serving drinks and ensuring memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Requirements include one year of bartending experience, TIPS certification, POS system proficiency, and the ability to work a 7-day rotation including nights and weekends. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

One year of bartending experience.
TIPS certification or state equivalent within 30 days.
Ability to operate the POS system.
Extensive knowledge of drink preparation.
Ability to work 7-day rotational schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Excellent interpersonal skills and service focus.
Must meet the legal age requirement.

Responsibilities

Acknowledge and welcome guests with a smile and greeting.
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Oversee liquor stock and bar supplies.
Prepare guest checks and process payments.
Light food preparation and service as needed.
Promote and upsell drinks and specials.
Create alcoholic beverages using proper portion controls and limit over-serving.
Maintain bar cleanliness and equipment.
Comply with liquor laws and brand standards.
Set up bar before opening and clean after shifts.
Perform side duties like garnish prep and stocking.
