Job summary

AC Hotel Portsmouth, a Colwen Hotels Property, seeks friendly Full Time and Part Time Banquet Servers to provide smooth, efficient service during events. You will set rooms, greet guests, relay orders, and deliver items while maintaining standards and brand policies.

Candidate should have strong customer service, POS familiarity, and the ability to work varied hours including nights and weekends. Previous banquet or server experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Previous server experience preferred.
• Ability to operate point-of-sale system.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Team player with a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to lift and carry trays up to 25 pounds.
• Availability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set banquet rooms per event orders and standards.
• Greet guests warmly and take/relay orders.
• Deliver food, beverages, condiments and other items.
• Ensure food is prepared and served to guests’ satisfaction.
• Clear tables and reset dining areas as needed.
• Adhere to Colwen and brand standards and liquor policies.
• Assist with general dining room tasks and event support.
