Job summary

HCW Hospitality is seeking a Banquet Lead to help deliver memorable events and exceptional guest service. This part-time role may move to full-time hours based on business needs, with open availability across mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and long days.

You will supervise the banquet team, assist with staffing, set up rooms, serve food and beverages, and coordinate with management to ensure flawless service from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Experience in a leadership banquet position with a focus on hospitality.
• Proven leadership in building a team and delivering flawless service.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy trays and equipment.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, long days, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead banquet team from start to end of the event.
• Assist in staffing and scheduling for events two weeks in advance.
• Be ready to work pop up events on short notice.
• Provide prompt, professional service to guests during banquets and events.
• Greet guests at the beginning and clean up at the end.
• Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table arrangements and décor.
• Serve food and beverages following proper service standards.
• Address guest needs and special requests with a positive attitude.
• Work closely with the banquet team to ensure smooth events.
• Assist with event breakdown and resetting rooms for future functions.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by management.
