Zusammenfassung

Mondrian South Beach is seeking a Banquet Captain to supervise banquet staff and coordinate all food and beverage services for events. You will train the team and uphold hotel standards for setup, service and hygiene, while ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth cross-department communication.

Responsibilities include coordinating with hosts, maintaining logs and function sheets, and overseeing service quality from setup to wrap-up.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Two+ years of banquet events supervision experience in hotel/F&B.
• Willing to work nights, holidays and weekends.
• Physically able to carry 35+ pounds and move throughout shift.
• Team player and able to work under pressure.

Aufgaben

• Meet and greet guests in a friendly manner.
• Coordinate with event host on banquet function details.
• Plan and organize banquet operations and maintain function sheets/BEO.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper setup of banquet rooms and storage areas.
• Oversee food and beverage service according to standards.
• Train staff in setup, service and hygiene practices.
• Communicate with other departments about guest needs and changes.
• Monitor guest requests and ensure timely, courteous responses.
