Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Universal Banker (20 hours) at the Old Brookville branch. This entry-level role supports customer service, sales, and product/service activities alongside a branch team.

You will help with account openings, process transactions, and resolve issues to build customer loyalty and grow sales in the consumer segment. The position emphasizes compliance, risk awareness, and strong communication in a busy retail banking environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in retail banking or similar.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to refer opportunities and resolve customer issues.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic account opening for existing customers.
• Provide service delivery to internal/external customers to resolve account service issues.
• Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
• Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate.
• Create sales opportunities out of service transactions and resolve customer complaints promptly.
• Support sales/service activities within the branch by participating in seminars, micromarketing events, promotional campaigns, product initiatives, etc.
• Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures to ensure safety and security of assets.
• Assess risk in business decisions, uphold firm reputation and compliance with laws and regulations.
