Job summary

First Interstate Properties, Ltd. is seeking a part-time Teller in Belgrade, Montana, to handle daily teller transactions in both lobby and drive-up locations.

The role focuses on delivering outstanding client service, developing client relationships, and recognizing referral opportunities for additional products and services. The Teller will process deposits, loans payments, cash checks, and manage currency exchanges while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in cash handling preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong mathematical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits and loan payments for customers at lobby and drive-up teller windows.
• Answer clients’ questions in person and by phone or email.
• Process transactions such as currency exchanges and issuance of cashier’s checks.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and refer clients to a banker when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records in teller systems and ensure cash drawer accuracy.
