Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking team members for its Whitehall, PA location to support bakery and store operations. Responsibilities include prep, baking, packaging, labeling, display maintenance, and cleaning to ensure product quality and safety.

Qualified candidates will be authorized to work in the U.S., able to read and follow directions, and complete a 60-day introductory period. Prior experience or training is preferred, with reliable attendance and proper attire required.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have valid identification.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in order to complete job duties and comply with company policies and safety regulations.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements and physical base scores for this position.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must perform all job functions safely.
• Must meet company performance standards including regular attendance.
• Must wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes.
• 1 year of work experience or technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift.
• Assemble and bake goods; place trays in racks and bake.
• Package and wrap baked goods, print labels and label products.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, display cases, floors and counters.
• Track and record loss.
