Job summary

Responsibilities

• Lead the department operations in the absence of the department manager and assistant department manager.
• Comply with all company policies procedures and government regulations.
• Utilize retail store systems that support job functions including Productivity Management, Scheduling, CAO and RF Unit.
• Treat all co-workers with fairness, dignity, and respect.
• Meet or exceed all applicable Management Planning guidelines.
• Develop product knowledge in all bakery areas (rolls, desserts, cakes, muffins, bagels, coffees, platters, etc.).
• Assist in training other associates when assigned.
• Maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance; comply with policy.
• Maintain solid communication within the department and organization.
• Support company safety standards; report equipment repairs; keep area safe.
• Observe and maintain sanitation and food safety standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
