Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Berlin, NJ is hiring a Part-time Sales Associate PT at 421 US-73. You will support B2B sales, build relationships, and promote inventory management solutions while delivering friendly, consultative service.

This role requires a valid driver's license, strong communication and computer skills, and a motivated, detail-oriented approach. Expect up to 28 hours per week with a daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid driver's license and meet driving record requirements.
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field OR have customer service or industry experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and sense of urgency.
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented.
• Lift/carry 25–50 lbs, up to 75 lbs; able to perform physical duties.
• Pass drug screen where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Support B2B sales and customer service activities.
• Provide value through a consultative sales approach.
• Develop new relationships and grow existing ones from leads and referrals.
• Coordinate resources to respond to customer service needs.
• Perform local sales calls driving a company vehicle to customer sites.
• Perform other duties to ensure branch success.
