Job summary

Sinclair Community College in Dayton, OH is seeking an Aviation Flight Instructor (Adjunct) to teach curriculum in the Aviation Technology department. This part-time, adjunct role expects instructional planning, syllabus preparation, and effective use of teaching technologies, with attention to diverse learner needs.

Qualifications

• Adjunct Faculty teach curriculum developed by the department.
• Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning.
• Prepare syllabi for all assigned sections in accordance with department policies.
• Employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies; use instructional technology when appropriate.
• Modify instructional methods to meet diverse students’ needs.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Cannot exceed 12 credit hours per semester.

Responsibilities

• Teach curriculum developed by the department.
• Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning.
• Prepare and provide syllabi for all assigned sections.
• Employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies and instructional technology.
