Job summary

PrimeFlight is hiring a PT Seasonal Deicer Supervisor at STL Airport to oversee deicing operations, ensure safety, and lead a team in a fast-paced environment. This on-site role requires strong supervisory and customer service skills, with a focus on reliability and operational excellence.

The position offers part-time hours, a competitive hourly rate, and benefits eligibility where applicable. Flexibility for night/weekend shifts is required as operational needs dictate.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Fleet maintenance and mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to access and interpret information on electronic devices (IPads/Tablets, Computers, Mobile Devices).
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Eligibility to acquire needed credentials (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs, as applicable).
• Airport operations require flexibility for nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise multi-shift deicing operations and on-airport activities.
• Develop and oversee workforce planning, workflow and process management.
• Provide safety training to all employees.
• Work alongside deicing staff to support operations and safety.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and reports are completed on time.
• Interact with customers and manage deicing activities and quality standards.
• Contribute to recruitment, interviewing and hiring processes.
