Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. in St. Louis, MO is hiring a Deicer Agent to ensure safe and efficient aircraft deicing.

You will inspect aircraft for ice and apply deicing fluids, and operate large vehicles around the aircraft during the deicing process, while keeping accurate records and communicating with dispatchers. Applicants must be 18+, authorized to work in the United States, have a valid driver’s license, and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Check aircraft for ice and frost; apply Type I and Type IV fluids.
• Safely drive large vehicles around aircraft during deicing operations.
• Record deicing fluid transactions accurately.
• Communicate with dispatchers via headset/radio.
• Perform daily quality control checks on equipment and vehicles.
• Abide by safety standards and procedures.
• Demonstrate regular attendance at the job site.
