Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Deicer Agent to ensure safe deicing of aircraft and maintain operational efficiency. Responsibilities include inspecting for ice, applying Type I/IV fluids, and coordinating with dispatchers while maneuvering around aircraft with large ground vehicles.

Flexibility to work varied shifts, ability to lift up to 70 pounds, and adherence to safety standards are required. The role offers part-time seasonal work at our Seattle-area operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs, as applicable).
• Airlines operate 24/7; available for various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Check aircraft for leading-edge ice and frost and deice as required.
• Apply Type I and Type IV deicing fluids to wings, fuselage and tail.
• Safely operate large vehicles around aircraft during deicing operations.
• Accurately record deicing fluid transactions for accounting purposes.
• Use headset/radio to communicate with the dispatcher during operations.
• Perform daily quality checks on equipment and vehicles.
• Follow all safety standards and procedures.
• Demonstrate regular, predictable attendance at the job location.
• Provide PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.
