Job summary

Jiffy Lube International, Inc. in Lake Charles, LA is hiring an Automotive Technician. You will perform a broad range of mechanical services, including brake work, engine and electrical servicing, and diagnostics.

You will also use computer systems to estimate parts and labor, and road-test vehicles to ensure quality work. The role requires 1–3 years of automotive experience and ASE certifications where possible.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of automotive experience
• 1-2 years of experience on brake systems
• Ability to use computer systems to provide estimates for parts and labor
• Must be ASE certified or willing to obtain certifications
• Ability to communicate clearly and work in a team

Responsibilities

• Perform complete disc or drum brake service and related tasks
• Diagnose braking system issues and perform needed repairs
• Diagnose engine performance, suspension/steering, electrical, and HVAC issues
• Road-test vehicles before and after service
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable workstation
