Jiffy Lube in Slidell, LA is seeking a General Service Technician. Part-time role handling entry-level vehicle service with on-the-job training to certify and advance. Focus on guest satisfaction, safety, and teamwork in a high-paced service center.

You will learn and perform services while ensuring clean facilities, effective communication, and quality workmanship. Training leads to certification and growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience (retail, food service, hospitality).
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Promote teamwork to deliver on time and accurate guest care during all operating hours.
• Demonstrate excellent guest service with clear communication about guest vehicles.
• Ensure the service center is clean and presentable.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior and mid-level automotive technicians.
• Check and communicate oil level to teammates and ensure tire pressure is correct.
• Inspect and refill fluid levels and complete vehicle inspections.
• Install a new oil drain plug and oil filter; lubricate fittings as needed.
• Document all work performed on repair orders; report safety issues immediately.
