River Oaks Honda is seeking a Part-Time Cashier to join our team in Illinois. The role involves handling customer transactions, computing bills, and processing payments to ensure a seamless customer experience.

The ideal candidate is accurate, customer-focused, with cashier experience; ability to work weekends/holidays and pass a background check. This position offers paid training and growth opportunities within a large automotive group.

Qualifications

• Cashier experience in an automotive dealership is a plus.
• Must be able to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen per local law/regulations.
• 18+ years of age to comply with company driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Calculate the customer's bill using the dealership's computer system.
• Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers.
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers.
• Ascertain and record totals of counter tickets and repair orders, sales deposits and verify against all payments at end of shift.
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer to the appropriate person for resolution.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

• Professional appearance.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Cashier experience, automotive dealership experience is a plus
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
• Excellent communication skills
