The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking a part-time cashier at Napleton's River Oaks KIA to handle customer transactions and payments accurately. This role supports a fast-paced dealership environment and contributes to a positive customer experience.

Located at Napleton's River Oaks KIA, the position offers paid training, discounts, and flexible scheduling (about 20-25 hours per week). Pay ranges from $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Cashier experience is a plus in an automotive dealership.
• Able to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Calculate customer bills using the dealership’s computer system.
• Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers.
• Make change accurately and issue receipts.
• Record totals of tickets and payments; verify cash/cheques/cards at end of shift.
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer to the appropriate person for resolution.
• Maintain a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Located at Napleton's River Oaks KIA, the Part-Time Cashier is critical to our customer’s experience. The Cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions, calculating bills, and processing payments. The ideal candidate must be accurate and customer-focused.

Job Responsibilities:

• Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system
• Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers
• Ascertain and record totals of counter tickets and repair orders, sales deposits and verify against all cash, checks and credit card payments on hand at end of shift
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution
• Able to work a flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Other duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements:

• Professional appearance.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Cashier experience, automotive dealership experience is a plus
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
