Ed Napleton Automotive Group in Oak Lawn is seeking a Part-Time Evening Cashier at Ed Napleton Honda. You will handle customer transactions, calculate bills, and process payments with accuracy, delivering a friendly, efficient checkout experience.

The ideal candidate has cash handling experience, excellent communication, and a neat appearance, with availability for evenings and weekends. This role offers training, flexible hours, and opportunities within a large dealership network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Cashier experience, automotive dealership experience is a plus.
• Must have availability to work evening and weekends.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Professional appearance.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local law/regulations.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy

Responsibilities

• Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system.
• Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers.
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers.
• Ascertain and record totals of counter tickets and repair orders, sales deposits and verify against all cash, checks and credit card payments on hand at end of shift.
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution.
• Able to work a flexible work schedule, including some weekends and holidays.
• Other duties as assigned by management
