Job summary

Ed Napleton Honda in Oak Lawn is seeking a Part-Time Evening Cashier to help deliver a smooth customer experience. The role handles customer transactions, processes payments, and calculates bills with accuracy.

Requirements include a high school diploma, cashier experience (automotive dealership experience a plus), availability for evenings and weekends, strong communication, and a professional appearance. Paid training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Cashier experience; automotive dealership experience is a plus.
• Must have evening and weekend availability.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.

• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system.
• Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers.
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers.
• Ascertain and record totals of counter tickets and repair orders, sales deposits and verify against all cash, checks and credit card payments on hand at end of shift.
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution.
• Able to work a flexible work schedule, including some weekends and holidays.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
