Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Part-time Air Traffic Control Instructor-II to join the Controller Training Solutions team at Augusta ATCT/TRACON in Augusta, GA. The role focuses on delivering high-quality classroom and simulation-based training to developmental air traffic controllers and CPCs, with potential mentoring of students and RPOs.

The candidate should have at least five years of FAA CPC experience and be able to obtain/maintain CPC and Instructor-II Simulation/ Classroom Certification. U.S.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required with ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Minimum of five (5) years of FAA CPC experience controlling live traffic or recent contract Instructor experience at an FAA facility.
• Experience at Augusta ATCT / TRACON (AGS) or same type facility preferred.
• Direct experience as CPC at Augusta ATCT / TRACON (AGS) preferred but not required.
• Operational experience with ATC simulators and scenario design for simulation platforms (e.g. AT Coach, SGET, etc.).
• Strong teaching and classroom management skills with a student-focused drive for continuous improvement.
