The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is the key to our success! Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience.

What You'll Do

1. Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment, ensure proper pricing, check product date codes, stock shelves, displays, and cases. Prepare perishable products for sale as needed.
2. Set up advertising/promotional displays and review invoices for accuracy.
3. Maintain sanitation standards in all store areas and parking lot.
4. Operate a cash register, handle transactions, and process refunds with management approval.
5. Verify customer eligibility when selling alcohol.
6. Assist customers courteously with product and store information.
7. Help load customer purchases into vehicles upon request.
8. Record lost/damaged goods and store supplies accurately.

What You'll Bring

1. Ability to read and write English, interact well with the public and coworkers.
2. Understand simple instructions, labels, pricing, and memos.
3. Present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.
4. Apply common sense to follow detailed instructions.
5. Lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
