Join our Store Operations Team as a Part-time Associate (Produce)!

The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is key to our success! Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience.

What You'll Do

1. Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment. Ensure proper pricing, check product date codes for rotation, stock shelves, displays, and cases. Prepare perishable products for sale when needed.
2. Set up promotional displays and review invoices for accuracy.
3. Maintain sanitation standards inside and outside the store, including the parking lot.
4. Operate a cash register, handle payments, and process refunds with management approval.
5. Verify customer eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages.
6. Assist customers courteously with current store and product information.
7. Load customer purchases into vehicles when requested.
8. Record lost/damaged goods and store supplies accurately.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to read and write English, interact well with the public and co-workers.
• Understand simple instructions, labels, pricing, shelf tags, and memos.
• Present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed instructions.
• Lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.

Extra Bonus Skills

• Basic PC and Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certification (preferred).
