The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is the key to our success!

Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience for our customers.

What You'll Do

• Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment, ensure correct pricing, check product date codes for rotation, stock shelves, displays, and refrigerated/frozen cases. Prepare perishable products for sale if needed.
• Set up advertising and promotional displays. Review invoices for accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards inside and outside the store, including the parking lot, as directed.
• Operate a cash register, handle payments, make change, and process refunds and transactions as approved.
• Verify customer eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous assistance to customers with current store and product information.
• Assist customers with loading purchases into vehicles when requested.
• Record lost/damaged goods and store supplies using appropriate tools.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to read and write English, interact effectively with the public and co-workers.
• Ability to understand simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Effective communication skills in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed but straightforward instructions.
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, 45 pounds frequently, and 60 pounds occasionally.
