Join our Store Operations Team as a Part-time Associate (Produce)!

The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is crucial to our success! Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience.

What You'll Do

• Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment, ensure correct pricing, check product date codes, and stock shelves, displays, and cases. May prepare perishable products for sale.
• Set up promotional displays and review invoices for accuracy.
• Maintain sanitation standards inside and outside the store and parking lot as directed.
• Operate a cash register, handle payments, and process refunds with management approval.
• Verify customer eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages.
• Assist customers courteously with current store and product information.
• Assist customers with loading purchases into vehicles upon request.
• Record lost/damaged goods and store supplies as part of basic bookkeeping duties.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to read and write English, interact effectively with the public and co-workers.
• Ability to understand simple instructions, labels, pricing codes, and memos.
• Ability to present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed but straightforward instructions.
• Regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
