The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is the key to our success! Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience for our customers.

What You'll Do

1. Maintain assigned store sections, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise using proper equipment. Ensure proper pricing and check product date codes for freshness. Stock shelves, displays, and refrigerated/frozen cases. Prepare perishable products for sale if needed.
2. Set up advertising and promotional displays. Review invoices for accuracy.
3. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all store areas and parking lot as directed.
4. Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle refunds as approved.
5. Verify customer eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages.
6. Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers with current store and product information.
7. Assist customers with loading purchases into vehicles if requested.
8. Record lost/damaged goods and store supplies accurately.

What You'll Bring

1. Ability to read and write English, interact effectively with the public and coworkers.
2. Understand simple instructions, labels, pricing codes, and memos.
3. Present information clearly in one-on-one or small group settings.
4. Apply common sense to follow detailed instructions.
5. Lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
