Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in school settings preferred.
• Knowledge of AAC devices, switch-access, screen readers.
• Ability to interpret assessment data for evidence-based recommendations.
• DOJ/FBI Livescan background check required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assistive technology assessments and recommend AT devices and accommodations.
• Participate in IEP meetings and present assessment findings to determine AT supports.
• Train teachers, staff, and families on AT tools and accessibility features.
• Provide device support and manage AT inventory across sites.
• Support development of accessible instructional materials and digital formats.
• Maintain documentation and progress data related to AT implementation.
