Job summary

American Fork City is seeking an Assistant Swimming Coach for a part-time, on-site role in American Fork, UT. You will support the Senior Gold Group with warm-ups, training sets, and feedback to help swimmers progress.

The position requires 1–3 years coaching experience, USA Swimming checks, and safety certifications. Work days are Mon–Fri afternoons and Saturday mornings, with a focus on consistency and athlete growth.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years coaching experience in year-round or summer leagues.
• Strong communication and athlete-development mindset.
• USA Swimming background check.
• American Red Cross Coaches Safety, CPR/AED, and First Aid Certifications.
• APT training; Concussion protocol training; USADA Coach’s Tutorial.
• ASCA Levels 1–2; USA Swimming Rules and Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coach assigned groups and provide deck supervision during practices.
• Support seasonal planning and execution of daily/weekly training progressions.
• Step in to coach other age groups as needed to ensure continuity.
• Maintain clear, timely practice documentation and athlete records.
